Data share Project Support

Savigar Services has already provided a Project Management function for Hackney Council who had purchased the Policy in Practice dashboard in order to identify households that may be at risk of homelessness due to financial poverty and to target support where possible.

How does this work?

1. Authority determines its requirements; In this case the Council didn’t have available resources with the skills and knowledge to implement the project and therefore prepared a detailed specification and contacted Savigar Services to provide the necessary skills. An initial kick off meeting was organised with Policy in Practice and Senior Managers within the Council and a set of success factors were agreed.

2. Procurement; Having agreed success factors and scope of the project the council set about ensuring procurement. IR35 is a difficult issue in these cases but having used HMRC guidance it was agreed this would be outside of IR35. All the necessary documents for getting paid, accessing systems and buildings are completed

3. Reporting protocols and available resources are agreed; How often and to whom. In this case Hackney use google as its main system and documents were shared with management and available at all times with weekly review meetings held between Savigar Services and Senior Managers. This can be packaged in a way that best suits your organisation

4. Invoices; Savigar Services worked on this project part time and provided invoices at the end of each month although these details are negotiable.
